Two addresses, and which one you want

Copy the address that fits and write to us from your own mail client. We do not put mail links on the site, because a link that hijacks your mail app is a small rudeness and an address you can copy works from every device and every webmail.

Everything ordinary

Questions about a report, an account, an invoice, a refund, a correction to something we published, or whether the thing you want is a thing we do. Also where to write if you run a site and want to know what we recorded about it.

Matters and engagements

Evidence packages for litigation, defensive audits for AI labs, expert-witness support, Enterprise access, and anything under an NDA. Tell us the domains and the date range and we will tell you what the archive holds before you commit to anything.

Saves a round trip

What to put in the first message

  • Evidence package: the domains, the date range, and the matter context if you can share it. If you cannot, say so and send the domains anyway.
  • Enterprise: roughly how many domains you need to watch, whether you want the bulk API or the dashboard, and whether you need a DPA. The Enterprise page lists what is in the tier.
  • Defensive audit: the model or models, and whether this is pre-release, mid negotiation, or already in discovery. The scope is different in each case.
  • A correction: the page or the capture, and what you believe is wrong. We keep the original either way, because an archive that quietly edits itself is worth nothing, but we will publish the correction alongside it.

We answer from a person, usually within a working day. If a reply matters and none arrives, check your spam folder and then write again; mail to small domains goes astray more often than anyone admits.

What BotWitnessBot fetches, how often, and how to tell a real request from something wearing our name is set out on the crawler page. To have your domain left alone, or to ask what we hold about it, write to [email protected] from an address at that domain.
